Flannery Road Park

Flannery Road Park, located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is a neighborhood park under the management of BREC (Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge). Covering approximately 16.13 acres, this park offers a variety of recreational facilities and outdoor spaces to accommodate visitors of all ages.

The park features both indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities. It includes lighted ball and multi-purpose fields, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, and a tennis court. For fitness enthusiasts, there is an outdoor fitness station and a walking track or loop designed for exercise and leisurely strolls. Families and children can enjoy the playground area, while gatherings and events are supported by the pavilion and picnic areas.

Flannery Road Park also promotes community engagement with spaces for sand volleyball and other group activities. While the recreation center is currently closed due to flooding, the park remains open daily from sunrise to sunset, ensuring accessibility for residents seeking relaxation and physical activity in a natural setting.
