Ford Park

Ford Park is a public park located on the west end of Shreveport, Louisiana, situated along Cross Lake. The park is home to a championship-level 21-hole disc golf course that offers a challenging and scenic playing experience.

The disc golf course at Ford Park features multiple tee positions, with concrete tee pads as well as additional blue and gold tees. The course layout takes advantage of the park's natural features, incorporating many large pine trees and some elevation changes throughout its holes. Players can enjoy views of Cross Lake from several areas of the course.

Established in 2000, the Ford Park disc golf course has become a popular destination for local players and tournaments. The course offers a mix of open and wooded holes, with some water hazards coming into play on lakeside shots. The full 21-hole layout measures approximately 8,360 feet in length.

Beyond disc golf, Ford Park provides other recreational amenities for visitors. The well-maintained grounds include grassy areas, a playground, and covered picnic areas for community use. The park's location on Cross Lake also allows for scenic views and a pleasant natural setting.
