Corporal Burns Park

Corporal Burns Playground, located in the Cambridgeport neighborhood of Cambridge, Massachusetts, is a vibrant community space that offers a mix of recreational opportunities for individuals of all ages. Auburn St. and Putnam Ave. The park is open daily, with extended hours from dawn until 10 pm during the warmer months (April 1 - October 31) and restricted hours from dawn to dusk in colder months (November 1 - March 31). Named in honor of Corporal Raymond Burns, a World War I hero from Cambridge, the park was first dedicated on May 31, 1920, establishing its historical significance within the community.
