Magazine Beach

Magazine Beach is Cambridge's second largest park, spanning approximately 15-17 acres along the Charles River. Located between the Boston University Bridge and Pleasant Street, this urban green space offers a variety of recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike.

The park has a rich history dating back to the early 19th century. Its name comes from a gunpowder magazine built in 1818, which still stands as the oldest structure in the Charles River Basin.
