McPherson Park

McPherson Park is an 8.5 acre recreational area located in the Centralville neighborhood of Lowell, Massachusetts. The park features multiple sports facilities and amenities for public use.

The park contains three softball fields, providing space for organized leagues and casual games. There are also three tennis courts and two basketball courts available for visitors to enjoy racquet sports and basketball.

For aquatic recreation, McPherson Park includes a swimming pool that is open seasonally. The park also offers two playground areas for children.

In 2023, volunteers from Habitat for Humanity Lowell and YouthBuild worked together to rebuild the softball field dugouts at McPherson Park, demonstrating community involvement in maintaining and improving the park's facilities.
