This L-shaped park offers a serene environment, balancing open spaces with shaded areas provided by mature trees. A paved concrete pathway meanders through the park, connecting its various features and enhancing accessibility for pedestrians. Stoddard Park is primarily used by the local Bailey neighborhood, a historic area that includes both Michigan State University students and young families, making it a vital community space.

The park currently features a playground with equipment that caters to varying age groups. This includes swings, monkey bars, a spinner, a climbing dome, and even a zipline, offering a range of fun activities for children.
