Ritter Springs Park

Ritter Springs Park is a 245-acre green space located in a rural setting just northwest of Springfield city limits in Missouri. The park offers a diverse landscape featuring woods, a lake, and streams, providing visitors with opportunities to explore nature and enjoy outdoor activities.

The park is accessible via the Ozark Greenways' Fulbright Spring Greenway trail, which connects Ritter Springs to David C Murray Park. This connection allows for extended hiking and biking experiences for those looking to explore more of the area's natural beauty.

During the summer months, Ritter Springs Park hosts a day camp program run by the Park Board. This program operates on weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm, utilizing portions of the park for camp activities. Visitors should be aware that some areas may be restricted during these times to accommodate the camp.

Throughout the year, the Park Board's Outdoor Initiatives program organizes various events at Ritter Springs, including guided hikes, nature walks, and overnight camp-outs.
