Carteret Park

Carteret Park is a public recreational area located in Elizabeth, New Jersey. This park serves as both a neighborhood green space and a playground for the nearby Abraham Lincoln school. The park recently underwent renovations led by Maser Consulting, transforming it into a diverse, multi-generational community space.

The centerpiece of Carteret Park's renovation is a new spaceship-themed playground, which adds a unique and imaginative element to the park's offerings. To complement this feature, the park now includes a fitness zone, catering to adults and promoting physical activity for all age groups. A full-sized basketball court has also been added, providing opportunities for team sports and casual play.

One of the park's notable features is a multi-use path that wraps around and bisects the park, offering visitors a convenient way to traverse the grounds and enjoy outdoor exercise. This pathway enhances the park's accessibility and encourages walking and jogging activities.
