One of the park's notable features is its 0.6-mile walking trail, which provides a pleasant route for exercise and leisurely strolls. The trail is rated as a Grade 2 difficulty, making it accessible to most visitors. It comprises 4-8 foot wide asphalt and packed gravel surfaces, ensuring a comfortable walking experience.

For families with children, the park plans to feature a playground, play area, and a nature play area. Additional amenities in the renovation plans include a BMX bike area, a shade and performance area, and cultural art installations.
The park's location near the Cesar Chavez Community Center provides convenient access to additional facilities and parking. Public transportation is available via ABQ Ride bus routes #3 and #157, making the park easily accessible to residents throughout Albuquerque.
