White Oak Creek Greenway

White Oak Creek Greenway is a 7.38-mile paved trail that runs through Cary, North Carolina. The greenway originates in Fred G. Bond Metro Park and extends westward, eventually connecting to the American Tobacco Trail.

The trail passes through wooded areas and wetlands, offering scenic views of natural habitats. Visitors can observe diverse wildlife, including birds, turtles, and beavers in the wetland sections. The path includes both asphalt surfaces and elevated boardwalks that traverse wetland areas, providing an up-close experience of these ecosystems.

White Oak Creek Greenway is part of the larger East Coast Greenway system, which aims to connect trails from Maine to Florida. The trail offers access to several parks along its route, including Davis Drive Park and Ed Yerha Park. It provides a corridor for both recreational use and alternative transportation, allowing residents to walk, run, or bike between different areas of Cary.

The greenway features numerous bridges and underpasses, allowing users to safely cross major roads and highways without interruption.
