Clarks Creek Community Park is a 31-acre public recreational space located in north Charlotte, North Carolina. The park opened in 2019 and offers a variety of outdoor amenities for visitors of all ages.
Situated across the street from Clarks Creek Nature Preserve, this community park features both paved and natural surface walking trails that wind through the property. The trail system provides connections to adjacent neighborhoods, allowing local residents easy access to the park's facilities.
The park includes several recreational areas designed for different activities. A large playground offers play structures for children, including unique in-ground slides built into a bordering wall. For water play during warmer months, there is a sprawling sprayground that operates from 10 am to 8 pm daily between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Sports enthusiasts can take advantage of the park's courts, which include eight dedicated pickleball courts and a full basketball court. There is also a large open field area that can be used for various activities or relaxation.
Clarks Creek Community Park caters to dog owners with separate fenced areas for large and small dogs. The park also features a community garden where local residents can grow their own produce.
