Park Road Park is a 122-acre urban park located at 6220 Park Road in the Closeburn-Glenkirk neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina. The park features a diverse range of recreational facilities and natural areas for visitors to enjoy.

At the heart of the park is an 11-acre lake with a fishing pier, providing opportunities for fishing and wildlife observation. The park's landscape includes walking trails that wind through wooded areas and around the lake, offering a peaceful escape within the city.

For sports enthusiasts, Park Road Park offers numerous athletic facilities. The park boasts 12 lighted tennis courts, which are considered among the best in Charlotte. There are also 8 basketball courts, 6 baseball/softball fields, and volleyball courts, catering to a variety of sports interests.

Families and children can enjoy the park's two playgrounds, which provide safe and fun spaces for younger visitors. The park also features five picnic shelters, making it an ideal location for gatherings and outdoor meals.

Park Road Park serves as a venue for various community events and activities. The Queens University of Charlotte softball team holds their home games at the park's fields. Beavers have taken up residence in the central pond, which has been deemed problematic by the Mecklenburg County's Nature Preserves and Natural Resources Division due to safety concerns and damage to restored vegetation.

Park Road Park is accessible via the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, connecting it to a larger network of trails and green spaces in Charlotte. The park also features a recycling drop-off center located at 5300 Closeburn Road within its grounds.
