For sports enthusiasts, Park Road Park offers numerous athletic facilities. The park boasts 12 lighted tennis courts, which are considered among the best in Charlotte. There are also 8 basketball courts, 6 baseball/softball fields, and volleyball courts, catering to a variety of sports interests.
