Cordelia Park is a 24-acre public park located in the Villa Heights neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina. The park provides recreational facilities and green spaces for local residents and visitors.
The park features an outdoor swimming pool and sprayground that are open seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The pool has a 50-yard lap section as well as a dive well and waterslide. Admission to use the pool facilities is $2 per person.
For children, Cordelia Park offers playground equipment with structures suitable for different age groups. There are play areas for both 2-5 year olds and 5-12 year olds, including swings and climbing equipment. The playground is partially shaded by mature trees.
Sports facilities at the park include a full-court outdoor basketball court. There are also walking trails and open green spaces for passive recreation and relaxation. The Little Sugar Creek Greenway passes through a section of Cordelia Park, connecting it to other parts of Charlotte's trail system.
The park contains an indoor pavilion that can be rented for events. The pavilion has views of the Charlotte skyline and can accommodate up to 70 guests. It includes amenities like restrooms, a kitchen area, and audio-visual equipment.
