Boss Park

Boss Park is a small neighborhood park located in Akron, Ohio. The park spans approximately 1 acre and is situated in Akron's University Park neighborhood.

In 2021, Boss Park underwent significant renovations as part of a community-driven redesign project. The revitalized park now features an outdoor classroom space, nature areas, and landscaping designed to support mental health and wellness. The park redesign was done in collaboration with Leggett Community Learning Center, an elementary school adjacent to the park.

The renovated Boss Park aims to serve as an outdoor learning environment for students as well as a public green space for neighborhood residents. New elements were added to make the park more functional as an extension of the school grounds while also providing recreational amenities for the surrounding community.
