Hanford Village Park

Hanford Village Park is a 2.025-acre neighborhood park located in the Near East community of Columbus, Ohio. Acquired in 1939, the park serves as a local recreational area for residents of the surrounding Hanford Village neighborhood, which has historical significance as a community developed in 1946 for African American veterans returning from World War II.

The park is situated near the Alum Creek Trail and Alum Creek Livingston Parkland, providing additional outdoor recreational opportunities for visitors. Hanford Village Park features a mix of natural and developed areas, including a wooded setting that offers a habitat for local wildlife.

In recent years, the park underwent renovations, resulting in updated facilities for community use. The park is open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., allowing visitors to enjoy its amenities throughout the day.
