Gradin Community Sports Park

Gradin Community Sports Park is a 32.3-acre public recreational area located in the Mt. Hood Neighborhood of Gresham, Oregon. The park offers visitors a blend of sports facilities and natural beauty, with views of Gresham's buttes adding to its scenic appeal.

Originally developed in phases, the park's first stage was completed in 2009, which included the initial sports fields, paths, and parking areas. As of 2025, the park is undergoing significant expansion and improvements to enhance its offerings to the community.

The park's latest development phase, scheduled for completion in summer 2025, will add new sports fields, improve existing facilities, and introduce a variety of amenities to cater to diverse recreational interests. This expansion aims to fulfill a vision for the sports park that has been in development for over two decades.

During the construction period from spring 2024 to summer 2025, the park will be closed to the public, with limited access only for existing permit holders. The project involves soil preparation for planting grass, trees, and various plants, contributing to the park's green spaces.

Funding for the park's expansion comes from a combination of federal, state, and local sources, including grants from the American Rescue Plan Act, Oregon State Lottery Bond, and local Parks System Development Charges.
