Overlook Park

Overlook Park is a 10-acre public park located in the Overlook neighborhood of North Portland, Oregon. The park offers scenic views of downtown Portland, the Willamette River, and the surrounding area from its elevated position on the east bank of the river.

Created in the early 1900s, Overlook Park features extensive walking paths and trails that wind through the landscaped grounds. The park contains a mix of open grassy areas and trees, providing both sunny and shaded spaces for visitors. In 2021, a nature patch was added to the north slope of the park, featuring forest understory, wildflower meadow, and high desert landscape areas to support native pollinators and wildlife.
