Sea Bee Park

Sea Bee Park is a public park located on the shores of Lake Fort Phantom Hill in Abilene, Texas. The park offers visitors a serene natural setting with scenic views of the lake and surrounding landscape.

The park features primitive camping facilities, with four designated campsites available for overnight stays. These sites are free to use and operate on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum stay limit of 48 hours. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring.

Sea Bee Park provides access to Lake Fort Phantom Hill, allowing visitors to enjoy activities like fishing and boating. A boat ramp is available for launching watercraft onto the lake. The park's waterfront areas are popular spots for fishing, with species like largemouth bass, white crappie, and catfish found in the lake.

For day use, the park offers picnic facilities, including covered picnic tables and a large group pavilion. Natural trails wind through the park, providing opportunities for hiking and wildlife viewing. The park is known as a good location for bird watching, with various species frequenting the area.

At the entrance of Sea Bee Park, there is a designated area for remote-controlled model airplane enthusiasts, featuring a small paved runway. This facility is managed by the local RC (radio control) society.
