Helen Wessler Park

Helen Wessler Park is a public recreational area located in Arlington, Texas. The park is situated next to Knox Elementary School, providing a convenient outdoor space for both students and local residents. The park features a large multipurpose field that is commonly used for soccer and other sports activities.

In recent years, the park has undergone some changes. The Helen Wessler Play Pool, which was previously a part of the park's amenities, has been permanently closed due to mechanical equipment issues. However, plans are underway for the development of a new city park with aquatics facilities on the site of the old Roark Elementary school. This new park and splash pad are tentatively scheduled to open in May 2025, offering residents new recreational opportunities in the future.

Helen Wessler Park spans approximately 11.3 acres, providing ample space for various outdoor activities and relaxation. The park is open daily from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, allowing visitors to enjoy the facilities throughout the day and into the evening hours.
