Brushy Creek Lake Park

Brushy Creek Lake Park is a 90-acre public park located in Cedar Park, Texas, just northwest of Austin. The park is centered around a 38-acre lake formed by a dam on Brushy Creek.

The park offers a variety of recreational opportunities for visitors. A network of hike and bike trails winds through the park, connecting it to the larger Brushy Creek Regional Trail system. The trails are paved or surfaced with crushed granite, making them accessible for walking, jogging, and cycling.

The lake itself is a focal point, with a fishing pier and areas for non-motorized boating such as canoeing and kayaking. A boat launch is available for visitors to put in their own small watercraft. Fishing is permitted in the lake in accordance with Texas state regulations.

For families, the park includes playgrounds, picnic areas with tables and grills, and a splash pad that operates seasonally. Sports enthusiasts can make use of sand volleyball courts and exercise stations along the trails. The park also features a labyrinth for quiet contemplation.

Brushy Creek Lake Park is open daily from 30 minutes before sunrise until 10:00 PM. The park can get busy on weekends and during pleasant weather, so visitors may want to arrive early to secure parking and picnic spots.
