Xeriscape Park

Garden of Memory - Xeriscape Park is a small public green space located in Brownsville, Texas. The park occupies a triangular piece of land at the intersection of University Boulevard, Washington Street, and International Boulevard. Owned by Texas Southmost College, this half-acre plot has been developed into a xeriscape demonstration garden.

Xeriscape gardens are designed to require little or no irrigation beyond natural rainfall, making them well-suited to arid climates. This park showcases landscaping techniques and plant selections that conserve water while still providing an attractive outdoor space for the community.
