Pioneer Park

Pioneer Park is a small but historically significant green space located in downtown Carrollton, Texas. This 3.5-acre park serves as a reminder of Carrollton's early days and pioneer heritage.

The park sits on land that was once part of the original town center in the late 19th century. In 1933, the first Carrollton City Hall was built on this site, a two-story frame building that also housed the volunteer fire department and the fire truck. This history is commemorated within the park today.

Pioneer Park underwent renovations in 2010 as part of Carrollton's efforts to revitalize its downtown area. The park now features walking paths, benches, and open green spaces for visitors to enjoy. Its location near the Downtown Carrollton Station on the DART Green Line makes it easily accessible to both residents and visitors.
