Lake Casa Blanca International State Park is a 525-acre state park located just east of Laredo, Texas, near the border with Mexico. The park surrounds the 1,680-acre Lake Casa Blanca, which was created in 1951 by damming Chacon Creek to provide recreational opportunities for Webb County residents.
The park offers a variety of outdoor activities centered around the lake. Visitors can enjoy fishing for largemouth bass, catfish, and crappie from the shore or fishing pier. A boat ramp provides access for those who want to explore the lake by boat. Swimming is permitted in designated areas.
On land, the park features trails for hiking and mountain biking through the South Texas brush country landscape. The Tamaulipan thornscrub habitat supports diverse wildlife, including white-tailed deer, javelinas, and many bird species.
