Memorial Park

Memorial Park is a 24.3-acre public park located along S. Valley Parkway and Corporate Drive in Lewisville, Texas. The park serves as a central gathering point for the community, offering a variety of recreational facilities and outdoor spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy.

One of the park's main features is Thrive, a multigenerational recreation center that opened in 2020. This 87,000-square-foot facility provides diverse programs and spaces designed to cater to users of all ages and abilities in Lewisville. The recreation center includes a natatorium, gymnasium, indoor walking track, fitness areas, and studios.

The park's outdoor amenities include a large playground for children, sand volleyball courts, and a 0.9-mile walking trail that winds through the grounds. These features allow visitors to engage in various physical activities and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Memorial Park's design incorporates elements that reflect the community of Lewisville, particularly in its aquatic features. The natatorium includes themed elements focused on water play and lake life, with spray features shaped like boats and sails, and tile work depicting fish. This theming extends throughout the facility, creating a cohesive and locally-relevant atmosphere.
