Airport Park

Airport Park is a 10.2-acre public park located in McAllen, Texas. The park offers a peaceful green space for residents and visitors to enjoy outdoor recreation activities.

The park features play equipment for children as well as fitness amenities like a jogging and exercise trail. Sports facilities include sand volleyball courts and baseball/softball fields. For relaxation and gatherings, the park provides picnic tables, barbecue grills, and open grassy areas.

In 2021, improvements were made to Airport Park including the addition of new picnic tables, trash receptacles, and ADA-compliant tables with connecting sidewalks to enhance accessibility. The park aims to provide a tranquil natural setting for physical activity, sports, and community gatherings within the city of McAllen.
