City Lake Park

City Lake Park is a popular outdoor recreation area located in Mesquite, Texas. The park features a central lake that serves as a focal point for various activities. The Texas Parks & Wildlife Department regularly stocks the lake with fish, making it an attractive spot for urban fishing enthusiasts. Rainbow trout are typically stocked from November to early March, while catfish are added from April to October.

The park encompasses approximately 88 acres and includes a 1.14-mile concrete trail, providing visitors with opportunities for walking, jogging, and cycling. The trail winds around the small lake, offering scenic views and a pleasant environment for exercise and leisure.

City Lake Park caters to families and visitors of all ages with its diverse amenities. The park includes a playground area for children, fishing piers extending into the lake, and picnic facilities.
