The Plano City Council has approved a nearly $8.5 million contract for upgrades, which include the replacement of restroom buildings in the northern and southern areas of the park, as well as the replacement of pole lighting for the eight ballfields. The lighting improvements will transition to LED lights and include the replacement of lighting controls, wiring, light poles and fixtures, switch gears, and underground conduits.
