Carpenter Park

Carpenter Park is a multi-purpose recreational facility located in central Plano, Texas. The park underwent renovations that were completed in recent years, transforming it into a versatile sports and leisure complex.

The park features four newly installed artificial turf fields that are suitable for various sports including lacrosse, soccer, football, and rugby. These fields are equipped with lighting to allow for evening use. The artificial turf incorporates Envirofill, a non-toxic infill material chosen for its safety, durability, and performance qualities.

In addition to the sports fields, Carpenter Park includes newly constructed trails that loop around the entire park area, providing opportunities for walking, jogging, and cycling. The park also contains an updated playground for children.

Carpenter Park is designed to accommodate both public use and organized sporting events. While open to the general public, the City of Plano also utilizes the park as a venue for tournaments and scheduled use by local athletic organizations. The park's central location and ample parking make it easily accessible for residents and visitors alike.

Adjacent to the park is the Carpenter Park Recreation Center, which offers additional indoor recreational facilities and amenities to complement the outdoor spaces.
