Cassiano Park

Cassiano Park is a 2.89-acre linear park located along Apache Creek in San Antonio, Texas. The park serves as an important community gathering space and recreational area for local residents.

Currently, Cassiano Park is undergoing revitalization efforts to improve its facilities and offerings. In January 2024, the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department was awarded a $1.5 million grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission to fund the Cassiano Park Revitalization Project. This grant will help enhance outdoor recreational opportunities at the park.

Additionally, as part of the 2022-2027 Bond Project, the City of San Antonio's Public Works Department is planning general park improvements within available funding. These improvements include pool house renovations, a new aquatic amenity, and playground enhancements. The estimated construction timeline for these improvements is from Summer 2025 to Fall 2026.
