In January 2024, the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department was awarded a $1.5 million grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission to fund the Cassiano Park Revitalization Project. Additionally, as part of the 2022-2027 Bond Project, the City of San Antonio's Public Works Department is planning general park improvements within available funding. These improvements include pool house renovations, a new aquatic amenity, and playground enhancements. The estimated construction timeline for these improvements is from Summer 2025 to Fall 2026.
