Provo River Parkway

Provo River Park is a public recreational area located along the Provo River in Provo, Utah. The park is part of the larger Provo River Parkway, a 15-mile trail system that connects Utah Lake to Vivian Park in Provo Canyon.

The park offers visitors access to the Provo River, which is popular for fishing, particularly for trout. The river's consistent flow allows for year-round fishing opportunities, with rainbow trout being notably abundant in this section.

Provo River Park serves as an access point to the Provo River Parkway Trail, a paved multi-use path that follows the course of the river. This trail is suitable for walking, jogging, cycling, and other non-motorized activities. The parkway provides scenic views of the river and surrounding landscape, including glimpses of local wildlife.

The park is open from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily, allowing visitors to enjoy the area throughout the day. As with other parks in Provo, dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times.

Visitors should note that the park adheres to Provo City park rules, which prohibit alcoholic beverages and unauthorized vehicles on grass areas. The park is designed for day use, with no overnight camping facilities available.
