Kern Park

Kern Park is a riverside public park located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Situated along North Humboldt Boulevard, the park spans 30.2 acres along the west bank of the Milwaukee River. It is part of the Milwaukee County Parks system and serves the local community as a recreational space.

The park features a variety of outdoor amenities for visitors to enjoy. Its location along the Milwaukee River provides scenic views and opportunities for riverside activities. In recent years, Kern Park has been part of an environmental cleanup effort. The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) has been working on removing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) from sewers in and around the park area. This project, which began in 2022, aims to improve the environmental quality of the park and surrounding waterways.
