Langan Park, also known as Municipal Park, is a sprawling 720-acre public park located in the Spring Hill neighborhood of Mobile, Alabama. Opened in 1957, the park was named after Joseph N. Langan, a former Mobile mayor, state senator, and city commissioner.
The park features several bodies of water, including lakes that cover approximately 28 acres. These lakes are popular spots for fishing, with varieties of fish such as bass, crappie, and catfish. The park's expansive green spaces and peaceful lakes make it an ideal location for outdoor recreation and relaxation.
Langan Park is home to numerous cultural and recreational facilities.
