Lavretta Park

Lavretta Park is located in Mobile, Alabama, within District 7. The park spans approximately eight acres and was originally developed in the 1970s. Situated in the Spring Hill area, it can be found just west of Bit and Spur off Old Shell Road.

In recent years, Lavretta Park has undergone significant upgrades to its infrastructure. A notable addition to the park's facilities was completed in September 2024, with the unveiling of six dedicated pickleball courts. These courts are constructed with hard concrete surfaces and feature permanent lines and nets, catering to the growing popularity of pickleball in the area.

The park serves as a community center and recreational space for local residents. It offers a variety of outdoor activities and is open daily from 8 am to 7 pm, providing ample time for visitors to enjoy its facilities. The park's layout and amenities make it suitable for both active sports enthusiasts and those seeking a more relaxed outdoor experience.
