River Road Park West

River Road Park West is a public park located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, along the southern bank of the Black Warrior River. The park is part of the larger Riverwalk project, which aims to expand riverfront access and recreational opportunities in the area. Completed in the fall of 2022, River Road Park West (also known as River District Park) serves as a space for community events and outdoor activities.

The park features green spaces that allow visitors to enjoy the natural surroundings and take in views of the Black Warrior River. A plaza area provides a gathering space for various events and activities. One of the park's notable features is an outdoor stage, which can be used for performances and public events.

To enhance the park's ambiance, color-changing RGB lights have been installed throughout the area. These lights create a visually appealing atmosphere, especially during evening hours.

River Road Park West is connected to the broader Riverwalk trail system, which extends along the river's edge. This connection allows park visitors to easily access other sections of the Riverwalk for walking, jogging, or cycling.
