Lehi Sports Park

Lehi Sports Park, located at 2228 N Center St in Mesa, Arizona, is a modern sports complex that opened to the public in January 2023. The park spans 24 acres and features five multi-sport fields primarily used for soccer, though they are also suitable for other sports activities. These fields are designed to accommodate full-size 11v11 soccer matches.

One of the distinctive features of Lehi Sports Park is its commitment to natural grass playing surfaces, bucking the trend of synthetic turf installations common in many modern sports facilities. This choice provides a more traditional playing experience for athletes, though it requires more intensive maintenance.

The park is equipped with LED lighting fixtures throughout the complex, allowing for extended playing hours into the evening. This feature is particularly beneficial in the hot Arizona climate, enabling comfortable use of the facilities after sunset.

A unique technological addition to the park is the MuscoVision camera system installed on Field 1. This high-tech equipment allows for live video streaming of games and events, which can be viewed in real-time via a web application. The system also records matches, making them available for on-demand viewing later.

Lehi Sports Park was developed with input from local residents, reflecting the community's needs and preferences. The property was acquired by the City of Mesa in stages, with the initial land purchase occurring in 2002 and additional acreage acquired in 2019.
