About Feld Davis Park in Tucson

Feld Davis Pocket Park is a small urban green space located at the southeast corner of 8th Street and Martin Avenue in Tucson, Arizona. This quarter-acre park, situated just west of Campbell Avenue, serves as a peaceful retreat for the Rincon Heights neighborhood.

Created in 2009, the park was transformed from an abandoned lot into a community space through the efforts of local volunteers and the Watershed Management Group. The park features native vegetation, which not only adds to its aesthetic appeal but also supports local ecology.

As a pocket park, Feld Davis offers a compact yet inviting environment for residents and visitors alike. Its design incorporates elements that encourage community interaction and provide a respite from the urban surroundings. The park's small size makes it an excellent example of how underutilized urban spaces can be converted into valuable community assets.
