Jesse Owens Park

Jesse Owens Park is a 38.1-acre community park located in Tucson, Arizona. The park is situated in Ward 2 of the city and offers a variety of recreational facilities for visitors of all ages.

The park has undergone several improvements to enhance its amenities and accessibility. Visitors can enjoy a decomposed granite pathway that circles the park's perimeter, connecting to multiple asphalt paths near the baseball and softball fields.

The park features a three-pool complex, including a 25-meter main pool with depths ranging from 3-5 feet, a diving pool with 1- and 3-meter boards, and a 1.5-foot deep wading pool. A shade structure is available near the main pool for visitor comfort.

Jesse Owens Park also includes multiple sports fields, including baseball and softball fields, as well as areas for soccer. The park provides ample parking and comfort stations for visitors' convenience.

The park includes a splash pad, enhancing its appeal for families with young children. Additionally, a rainwater harvesting project includes the construction of basins and the planting of native trees and shrubs near these basins.

The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., allowing visitors to enjoy its facilities throughout the day.
