Manzanita Park

Manzanita Park is a 7.5-acre public recreational area located in Anaheim, California. The park, which opened in 1972, is situated west of Harbor Boulevard and south of the Riverside Freeway, offering a variety of facilities for visitors of all ages.

The park features two separate playgrounds catering to different age groups. The first playground is equipped with a climbing net, spinner, floating steps, and monkey bars, while the second playground includes a tunnel and slides. Both play areas are set on woodchip surfaces for safety. Swings, including baby bucket swings and regular kid swings, are available for younger visitors.

For sports enthusiasts, Manzanita Park offers several options. There's an outdoor basketball court, a football/soccer area, and volleyball facilities. The park also boasts an unlighted softball field, providing opportunities for casual games and practice.

One of the park's standout features is its skate park, which has become a popular spot for skateboarding enthusiasts. The skate park includes both a pool and a street course, offering varied terrain for skaters of different skill levels.

It's worth noting that the park houses a youth center, adding to its community-oriented amenities. During weekdays, visitors can access restrooms located outside the Boys & Girls Club building behind the first playground.
