Presentation Park

Presentation Park is a small public green space located in Berkeley, California. This mini-park occupies an area of approximately 0.17 acres or 7,410 square feet. The park serves as a quiet retreat within the urban environment, offering residents and visitors a place for relaxation and outdoor enjoyment.

The park features a lawn area and picnic facilities, providing opportunities for casual outdoor activities and gatherings. While compact in size, Presentation Park contributes to the neighborhood's green infrastructure and community spaces.

Interestingly, the park was built on land that was previously part of a Catholic monastery, adding a historical element to its background. The park is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm, allowing for extended use throughout the day.

In recent years, the City of Berkeley has implemented environmental improvements to the park. A rain garden has been installed to collect, clean, and infiltrate stormwater runoff from nearby Allston Way before it enters Strawberry Creek, showcasing the park's role in local water management and ecological efforts.
