DeGarmo Community Park

DeGarmo Park is a sprawling 36-acre community park located in northwest Chico, California. Established as a collaborative effort between the City of Chico and the Chico Area Recreation and Park District (CARD), the park serves the recreational needs of the rapidly expanding North Chico community.

The park features a diverse range of facilities catering to various interests and age groups. Its expansive green spaces include multi-use turf fields suitable for soccer and other field sports, as well as youth softball fields. For families with children, the park offers a large playground area with modern play structures and swingsets.

DeGarmo Park also includes a dedicated dog park, providing a safe, fenced area where pet owners can let their dogs run off-leash. The park's design incorporates walking paths, allowing visitors to enjoy leisurely strolls or more vigorous exercise routines.

For group gatherings and community events, the park offers picnic shelters and a pavilion.
