Peterson Park

Peterson Park is a 4.10-acre neighborhood park located in northwest Chico, California. The park provides a variety of recreational amenities for local residents and visitors. It features a multi-use turf playfield, which offers ample space for various outdoor activities and sports.

The park includes a basketball court for those interested in playing or practicing their hoop skills. For younger visitors, there is a playground area with equipment designed for children's entertainment and physical activity. Recently, the park unveiled a new, advanced play area for children. This upgraded structure includes two slide styles, ladders, a rock climbing wall, a bridge connecting two play towers, a zip line, a swing set, and a merry-go-round. The new playground, which took about five weeks to install, was designed to provide children with a safe and exciting play environment.
