About Miller Park in Fontana
Miller Park is a 5-acre public park located in Fontana, California. Situated near the Fontana Lewis Library and Technology Center, the park serves as a central recreational space for the community. The park features both a large pool and a smaller pool shaped like a dolphin, providing swimming opportunities for visitors of all ages.
The park includes the Miller Fitness Center, which houses fitness equipment, lockers, showers, and four racquetball courts. The fitness center is open six days a week, offering affordable daily and monthly rates for adults and seniors. Recently renovated racquetball courts are available for use at an additional cost.
Miller Park also boasts an amphitheater, which serves as a venue for community events and performances. On the western side of the park, visitors can find the Fontana Veterans Memorial, honoring service members from various conflicts including World War I and the Vietnam War.
For families with children, the park offers two playgrounds. The larger playground, renovated in July 2018, features a rope wall, slides, a rock climbing wall, spinning chair structures, twisting monkey bars, ramps, and various games. The playground area is equipped with both rubber and wood chip surfaces for safety.
The park provides ample parking options, with spaces available off Wheeler Avenue, Seville Avenue, and near the Miller Fitness Center. Additional street parking can be found on Arrow Boulevard.
