El Dorado Park

El Dorado Park, located in Lancaster, California, is a community park that has recently undergone significant changes. As of April 2024, the park has been renamed Samaritan's Purse Park, honoring the work of the Samaritan's Purse organization in Lancaster. The park is situated adjacent to El Dorado Elementary School, providing a convenient recreational space for both students and local residents.

The park's renovation was made possible by an $8.4 million grant awarded to the city of Lancaster by California State Parks in December 2021. This funding has allowed for a comprehensive upgrade of the park's facilities and amenities, enhancing its value to the community.
