Andreson Park is a 5-acre public park located in Rialto, California. The park offers a variety of recreational facilities and amenities for visitors of all ages. It features a 1/4 mile walking path that circles the park, providing an opportunity for visitors to enjoy a leisurely stroll or engage in light exercise.
The park includes a dedicated dog area divided into two sections: one for larger dogs and another for smaller dogs. This dog park area is equipped with obstacles such as tires, a pirate ship, tubes, stairs, and ramps, allowing pets to play and exercise in a safe, enclosed environment. A water fountain is available for both people and dogs.
For families with children, Andreson Park has a playground equipped with slides, a rock climbing wall, a swirly fireman pole, ladders, a bridge, and stairs. The playground area also features both classic swings and bucket swings suitable for younger children. The play area is covered with wood chips or mulch for safety.
Sports enthusiasts can make use of the park's basketball facilities, which include a full-length court and an additional half-court in a shaded area. The park also provides horseshoe toss areas with sand pits and barriers to contain the horseshoes.
Andreson Park offers ample green space in its center, suitable for various activities such as soccer or football, though some trees may limit larger games. The park also features an exercise station near the parking lot, equipped with pull-up bars, push-up bars, parallel bars for gymnastics, and benches.
For gatherings and events, the park provides three large picnic shelters. These shelters can be reserved for a fee, making them ideal for family picnics, community events, or other social gatherings.
The park is open daily from 5 AM to 10 PM, allowing visitors to enjoy its facilities throughout the day. Parking is available in a dedicated lot along South Lilac Avenue, with additional street parking in the surrounding area if needed.
