Vista Canyon Park

Vista Canyon Park is a recently developed recreational area located in Santa Clarita, California. Opened in March 2022, this 11-acre park is situated within the Vista Canyon community, a sustainability-focused development adjacent to Highway 14 on Lost Canyon Road.

The park features a variety of amenities designed to cater to different age groups and interests. One of its prominent features is the Mitchell River House, which serves as a community room for events and social gatherings. This structure pays homage to the Mitchell Family Adobe, the first home of pioneer Thomas Mitchell and his wife Martha, as well as the first schoolhouse in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Vista Canyon Park is integrated into the broader Santa Clarita trail system, providing residents with easy access to miles of walking, jogging, and biking paths. The park's design incorporates elements that honor the local history and provide innovative community spaces, as emphasized by the project developers.

The park is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, offering ample time for community members to enjoy its facilities.
