About Majestic View Park in Arvada
Majestic View Park is an 80-acre public park located in Arvada, Colorado. The park features scenic views of the Front Range mountains to the west, including vistas stretching from Pikes Peak to Boulder.
At the heart of the park is Oberon Lake, which serves as a wildlife resting area. The park contains several other protected areas for local and migratory wildlife that are marked by signage. These areas provide sanctuary for birds, reptiles, mammals, fish and other creatures in their natural habitat. Visitors can often observe migratory species throughout the year as they stop to rest and find food.
The park includes nearly 2 miles of trails, with both paved and gravel paths available for walking, running or biking. A 1/3 mile nature walk connects the main parking area to the Majestic View Nature Center, which offers environmental education programs and exhibits about local ecology.
Majestic View Park is open from sunrise to sunset daily. Alcohol and amplified music are not permitted in the park. All animals must be leashed, and visitors are required to pick up after their pets. While enjoying the natural areas, guests are asked not to harass, feed, or attempt to catch any of the park's wildlife.
