About Pioneer Park in Aurora
Pioneer Park is a 4-acre public park located in Aurora, Colorado. Established in 1988, it was the first park built by the Trails Park and Recreation District. The park is situated off Picadilly Road and serves as a local recreational area for the community.
The park features a walking trail that connects to the West Tollgate Trail, providing opportunities for residents to enjoy outdoor exercise and nature. A playground suitable for children ages 2-12 is available, offering a space for younger visitors to play and socialize.
Pioneer Park also includes a sports field, allowing for various athletic activities. While there is no on-site parking lot, street parking is available for visitors. The park is open daily from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm, giving residents ample time to enjoy its facilities throughout the day.
As a community space, Pioneer Park adheres to a set of rules to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all visitors. These include prohibitions on overnight parking, climbing structures or trees, and restrictions on alcohol consumption and noise levels.
