Palmer Park

Palmer Park is a large urban park located in the heart of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Spanning 730.7 acres, it offers a diverse landscape of rocky bluffs, scrub oak, ponderosa pine, and Douglas fir. The park was established in 1902 when William Jackson Palmer, the founder of Colorado Springs, donated the land to the city.

The park is renowned for its extensive trail network, boasting over 25 miles of hiking and biking trails. These trails range from easy to moderate difficulty, catering to various skill levels and preferences. The terrain is characterized by hardpacked dirt and rocky surfaces, making it popular among hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders.
