Huston Lake Park

Huston Lake Park is a community park located in the Athmar Park neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The park spans approximately 33.7 acres and features a serene lake as its centerpiece. Originally the site of a swampland called "Frenchie's Lake," it was named after one of the area's original landowners, Nathaniel K. Huston.

The park offers a variety of recreational opportunities for visitors. A paved walking and biking path encircles the lake, providing a scenic route for exercise and leisure. The park's landscape includes lush greenery and open spaces, making it an ideal spot for picnics and outdoor activities.

As of 2025, further upgrades are in progress, including the redesign of the playground and replacement of the asphalt walking loop on the west side of the park. These improvements aim to make the park more inclusive and enjoyable for all visitors.
