General José Francisco Morazán Quesada Park, formerly known as Riverside Park, is a compact neighborhood park located on SW 7th Avenue in Miami, Florida. The park spans approximately 56,000 square feet and serves as a valuable recreational space for the local community.
Named after José Francisco Morazán Quesada, a prominent Central American statesman and general who served as president of the Federal Republic of Central America, the park offers a blend of athletic and leisure facilities. Its central feature is a baseball diamond, providing a space for both organized games and casual play.
The park is currently undergoing renovations, which began in late 2024 and are expected to be completed by the end of May 2025. These improvements, announced by the City of Miami and District 3 Commissioner Joe Carollo, aim to enhance the park's facilities and accessibility.
General José Francisco Morazán Quesada Park is open daily from sunrise to 10:00 PM, offering residents and visitors extended hours to enjoy its amenities. The park's location near Little Havana makes it a part of the vibrant Cuban-American culture that characterizes this area of Miami.
